Conference Venue

The 4th International Conference on Spectroscopic Ellipsometry will take place in Folkets Hus, a part of City Conference Centre Stockholm, located in the heart of Stockholm.

Folkets Hus, which was inaugurated in 1960, was built to house numerous activities in an exciting architectural environment. The Congress Hall forms the heart of the building and can seat up to 1,400 people. Circling the Congress Hall are another 19 conference rooms of varying sizes, exhibition spaces and restaurants. Folkets Hus is also home to Dansens Hus, the primary dance scene in Stockholm, and the nightclub Aladdin. Best Western Wallin Hotel is also directly connected to Folkets Hus.

It is easy to find your way to City Conference Centre. Many local buses stop close to Folkets Hus.  CCC is situated only 500 m from the Central station where trains, airport buses, Arlanda Express, commuter trains and subways stop. The nearest subway stop is Hötorget, exit Olof Palmes gata.

Car
Follow the signs towards Stockholm C. Then drive towards Norra Bantorget. You can park under the Norra Latin school yard, entering from Olof Palmes gata. 

Airport buses 
"Flygbussarna" leave from the City Terminal at Stockholm C to Arlanda, Bromma airport, Skavsta airport (Nyköping) and Västerås airport. Weekdays the buses leave every 10th minute for Arlanda.

Arlanda Express
The airport train, Arlanda Express, runs a commuter service between Arlanda and the City Terminal and departures six times per hour during rush hours.

Taxi
